Blue Dog Automotive provides mobile roadworthy inspections for a wide range of vehicles. Our mobile inspection service allows you to have your vehicle inspected at your home, workplace or place of sale, saving you the need to transport the vehicle.

Mobile inspections are available across Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Howard, Childers and Bundaberg.

Some specialised inspections, including LAMS motorcycle inspections and heavy vehicle COI inspections, are currently available in Maryborough and Hervey Bay only.

WHEN YOU NEED A ROADWORTHY

A roadworthy inspection is required in Queensland when:

• Selling a registered vehicle

• Transferring registration to a new owner

• Registering an unregistered vehicle

• Registering a vehicle from interstate

A valid safety certificate confirms the vehicle meets the minimum safety requirements set by Queensland Transport.

Trailers under 750kg ATM without brakes do not require a roadworthy inspection.
